On October 31, 2016 in the village of Voyvodinovo, Plovdiv region, a bust of Hristo Botev was solemnly opened. The mayor of the village, Dimitar Tosev, who is a member of the “Highwaymans” Association, invited members of the association from all over the country. Apart from them, the “Califerovi Highwaymans” Association also took part in the unveiling ceremony of the monument. The holiday was marked by reciting poems by the poet from guests and residents of the village, as well as dances performed by the Children's Folklore Group.
